Evaluation of the physiological quality of quinoa seeds

The variations in seed quality and scarcity vigor studies have been limiting factors crop establishment at different regions of its Andes origin. present study aimed to evaluate the physiological quinoa seeds, from cultivars Brazil, Colombia Ecuador. research was conducted Seeds Technology Laboratory University Brasília, through tests germination, hypocotyl radicle length accelerated aging test. Eighteen genotypes selected were evaluated using F Test Scott-Knotts. In addition, hierarchical cluster analysis performed Ward method Cluster by k-means. germination average 80.81%; characteristics showed an 9.11 11.27 mm, respectively. after test 75.52%, with better results for Piartal Aurora. Quinoa variability vigor, allowing determining differences potential high stress conditions. application methods developed seeds 25°C 4 days has effective screening quality.
